Program Description: Two full-time Lenexa
Police Officers are responsible for providing various
programs to seven
elementary schools and one middle school.
The
programs include, but
are not limited to, DARE, Safe Schools, Stranger
Danger, Internet Safety,
Constitutional Law, Forensics, Drunk Driving and
DARE Camps. The officers are a resource for the students
and staff as well
as the PTA.

police officers full time in all nine city high schools and

middle schools. DARE officers also work
in all of the city's
public and most of the
city's private schools.
