also incorporate tobacco

Program Name: School Liaison Officers

Program Description: Three officers are
assigned full time to four schools in the district. One
officer to the high
school, one to the middle school and one to share between
two alternative schools for middle and high
school age students. The
officers are the link
between law enforcement and the community schools
and a resource to the
educational system in their effort to identify and
suppress actions that
endanger the safety of those in the school system.
The benefit to be
derived is the protection of life and property and a reduction
in criminal incidents involving school age
youth.
