INFORMATION
Program Name: EZ-Plus
Contact: Lt. Brad Conner
Program Description: A course of instruction
is taught by officers in the middle school dealing with
drugs, alcohol, and
violence. All middle school students are also given a
chance to join the
EZ_Plus program. In order to join they must take a pledge to
be drug, alcohol, and violence free. They then
sign the pledge that is
displayed publicly in
the school. The membership in the EZ_Plus program
entitles the student to
participate in dances, trips, and raffles sponsored by
the police department. A
student who violates the pledge has the card
revoked and can no
longer participate in the events unless reinstated into the
organization. Any teacher, parent or police
officer may revoke a student's
